lawyer's are expensive things... so it's time for another fundraiser for lily and donna, the 'pie pair'. this time it's an art show and sale organized by one of the defendants.

where: 1111 Memorial Drive NW (old firehall at entrance to kensington)
when: saturday sept 8, 6pm-9pm
why: to raise funds for lily and donna, the 'pie pair'

"An art showing of recent works by local artist Greg Wilcox to raise funds for lawyers for the two women who pied (or tried to pie) premier Ed Stelmach and mayor Dave Bronconnier.

The show features art works displaying the resiliency and resistance of people in the lands once known as "Turtle Island". The works are derived from actual photo images of events and people (both Native and non-Native).

Entry is $5. Desserts available.

Prints, as well as originals, will be for sale."
